Dr Stella Jo

Dr. Jo completed her medical training at Flinders University in Adelaide prior to undertaking her specialist radiology training in Perth. She completed her fellowship in breast imaging at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Dr Mark Holland

Dr Mark Holland is a graduate of London University where a gained a Bachelor of Science honours in Radiological Sciences at Guys and Thomas’ Medical School in 1990 and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical Schools in 1993.  Dr Holland completed radiology specialist training on the West Midlands Scheme in 2007 with speciality interests in breast and head and neck imaging. Whilst in the UK, Dr Holland held consultant posts as a Breastscreen radiologist at Wirral University Teaching Hospital and a breast and chest radiologist at Royal Stoke University Hospital. In Australia, Dr Holland completed fellowships in breast imaging and neuroradiology.

  •    MSK and General radiology

Dr Kendy Ong

Dr Kendy Ong completed her radiologist training and Paediatric fellowship at St. Luke’s Medical Centre in the Philippines. After moving to Australia, she worked at all the public tertiary hospitals in Western Australia. She also completed a subspecialty breast fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Dr Sanjeeb Sarma

Dr Sanjeeb Sarma completed his radiology specialty training at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in India. He has worked as a consultant radiologist at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead; he has since worked in private radiology practices.

Dr Sarma’s areas of interest include:

  • Paediatric Imaging
  • Musculoskeletal Imaging
  • CT and Ultrasound Guided Procedures

Dr Jay Ives

Dr Ives completed a Body Imaging fellowship at McMaster University in 1986 and a Neuroradiology fellowship (including Neuro-Intervention) at the University of Western Ontario in 1987.

Dr Ives has previously worked at Royal Perth Hospital where he was employed as the Director of MRI services between 1993-1995. Following this he joined SKG Radiology to set up and run their MRI services.

  • Musculoskeletal MRI
  • Body MRI

Dr Heino Kaard

Dr Heino Kaard has previously worked at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Dr Kaard has worked as a consultant Radiologist at SKG and Albany Hospital.

Dr. Kaard’s areas of interest include:

  • MSK Ultrasound and Interventions
  • Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Breast Biopsies
  • Image Guided Injections
  • Body Imaging

Dr Ashok Kumar

Dr. Ashok Kumar completed radiology specialty training at the Royal Perth Hospital in 1984. He has worked as a consultant radiologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 1986 and served as RANZCR WA Branch chairman between 2000-2004.

Dr Kumar’s areas of interest include:

  • Interventional radiology
  • General radiology
  • MRI

Dr Johanna Lagerberg

Dr. Jo Lagerberg graduated in 1977 from medical school at Monash University in 1977. She undertook specialist training in obstetrics in London and returned to Western Australia as part of the physicians training program in Perth.

She concluded specialist radiology training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 1984 and has since worked in both private and public hospital radiology departments.

Dr. Lagerberg’s areas of interest include:

  • Women’s health
  • Sports injury
  • General radiology

Dr Long Nguyen

Dr Nguyen completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia and worked as a junior doctor at Royal Perth Hospital. Prior to his admission into radiology subspecialty training, Dr Nguyen spent a year as a Research Fellow in Diagnostic Imaging, whose role was to update the Diagnostic Imaging Pathways website – An online evidence based clinical decision support tool and educational resource for appropriate diagnostic imaging. Dr Nguyen completed his radiology specialty training in WA in 2014.

In 2015 Dr Nguyen also completed a further subspecialty fellowship in both Chest and Abdominal Imaging at Royal Perth Hospital. He has been has been awarded the RANZCR/IRQN Quality Improvement Poster Prize in 2008 and the Philips Healthcare Australasia Scientific Paper Prize for the best Radiology Oral Presentation at the RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting in 2009.

Dr Nguyen’s areas of interest include:

  • General Radiology

Dr Stephen Swift

Dr Swift graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 1980. Dr. Swift then went on to complete his radiology speciality training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 1987.

Before joining Insight Clinical Imaging Dr. Swift was a partner and consultant radiologist at SKG radiology.

  • CT and Ultrasound Interventional Procedures

Dr Arun Abraham

Dr Arun Abraham is clinical lead of cardiac imaging at Royal Perth Hospital and a consultant echocardiologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Abraham has completed advanced fellowship
training in Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology including PET. Dr Abraham is a clinical associate professor at Curtin University and has experience in leading advanced cardiac imaging programs in Western Australia.
