Joe Gauci qualified as a Medical Imaging Technologist at RMIT University, Melbourne in 1986.
He commenced his professional career at Melbourne’s, St. Vincent’s Hospital in 1987 as a Radiographer and gained extensive experience in CT, MRI and Information Technology.
He soon progressed to a Senior Management role within the department and furthered his management experience with post graduate education.
In 1996, he moved into a commercially focused role with Agfa Healthcare targeted at the development of their health informatics business.
Over his 10 year career with this company he held several key management roles including Product Manager and Asia Pacific Marketing Director for Agfa’s Health Informatics portfolio.
Joe has substantial experience in health information technology, customer service, marketing and strategic management.
He has presented at numerous international conferences and consulting on Health IT and Business Management in both the public and private health sectors.
Dr Ashok Kumar graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 1977 and completed his residency at Sir Charles Gairdner, Wyndham and Derby Hospitals between 1977 and 1979.
He undertook Specialty Radiology training at Royal PerthHospital as a Registrar between 1980 and 1984 and then as a Senior Registrar in Interventional Radiology at Sydney’s St. Vincent’s Hospital in 1985.
He was awarded Fellowships from the College of Radiologists (London) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1984 and 1985 respectively.
Dr. Kumar has worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) as a Consultant Radiologist since 1986.
He was the Director of Radiology at SCGH between 1989 and 1994 and Chairman of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (WA Branch) between 2000 and 2004.
In addition to his 28 years of experience in the public radiology sphere, Dr. Kumar has significant experience with the private radiology sector.
Dr. Kumar is committed to providing high quality clinically indicated radiological services with good ethical business practices.
His key interests are vascular, urological and musculoskeletal diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Josh Zucal has worked in management roles in the Australian healthcare industry for over 10 years.
During this time, he has held various senior roles in both the public and private sector where he has gained experience in commercial management, business development and people management.
Immediately prior to joining Insight Clinical Imaging, Josh was Vice President – Clinical Products/National Sales Manager for Siemens Healthcare based in Melbourne managing a large national team.
While at Siemens, Josh delivered large scale customer focused solutions for all areas of the healthcare industry including large corporate healthcare providers, private hospitals, research institutions and public hospitals.
Josh holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Science from Curtin University.
